– TrialPad has been rebuilt with a new and modern user interface.
– The annotation tools now live in a floating palette you can move to any of the four sides of the presentation view, and lock to a vertical or horizontal orientation so it stays where you want it while you work.
– Selecting a tool in the palette brings up the options for that tool on their own, so you are working with the settings for the tool in your hand rather than everything at once.
– Annotation controls are grouped together in the palette, including Undo and Clear, with a new Hide Annotations option for showing or hiding your markup.
– Clear annotations now lets you remove each annotation type individually.
– Callouts can be resized with a pinch, tapped to change their border color, and set to dim the rest of the document by 25%, 50%, or 75%.
– Split View now offers horizontal or vertical layouts, a Switch Position button to swap sides, and support for multimedia, so you can show two videos side by side or a video next to a document.
– A new multimedia viewer adds Loop Video, Jump to Time, and adjustable playback speed, along with preview thumbnails as you drag the timeline which also displays audio levels, holding either edge to play at 2x, and double tapping to skip forward or back 10 seconds.
– Key Docs can be created from multimedia using either the entire video or a selected time range, and tapping the Key Docs icon now lists the other Key Docs for the document or multimedia you are viewing.
– Bookmarks for multimedia let you save and return to specific timestamps, and timestamps typed into Presenter Notes become links that jump straight to that point in the media.
– Presenter Notes and the Presentation Log now open in floating windows you can move and resize while presenting, and a new Hide UI option clears the on-screen controls with a single tap.
– Swipe right on a document to mark it Admitted, assign an Exhibit Sticker, or export it, and long press for a fuller menu including Export by Exhibit, Print, Move, Rename, and Duplicate.
– Jump to Document joins Jump to Page, and dragging the document or page slider now shows a preview thumbnail.
– Documents that have Presenter Notes are now marked with a note icon in the browser list.
